The Makita DHP458 18V LXT Combi Drill delivers high power from a compact body.

The high power 4 pole motor has double the amount of magnetic force than standard motors providing more energy and power generating a maximum no load speed of 2000rpm, impressive max 91Nm torque and up to 30,000bpm impact rate.

With 21 position adjustable torque control for uniform results and optimized precision, 2 speed/variable speed including reverse, 13mm single sleeve keyless chuck for easy bit installation/removal by one hand, drilling up to 13mm into steel, 65mm into wood & 16mm into masonry making it ideal for use in a variety of materials and a wide range of applications.

Featuring a twin LED job light with pre-glow for use in low visibility applications together with a variable speed trigger for greater control.

The 3 stage battery fuel gauge shows the power remaining in the battery, simply by pulling the trigger. 3 lights on - more than 50% of full battery capacity. 2 lights on - 20% to 50% of full battery capacity. 1 light on - less than 20% of full battery capacity.

Enhanced dust and drip-resistant performance, for use in outdoor applications or harsh environments, protection from dust & dripping water is enhanced compared with the existing model.
