Giving you the power of corded on the move, the brushless Makita DJV182 is the first step towards the next generation of cordless jigsaws, the brushless motor allows the user to achieve up to 50% increase in runtime per battery charge, meaning that you'll have plenty more time to get that precise finish that you're after.

This DJV182 is a Makita D handle jigsaw, which has a different design to its brother the DJV181, designed with a barrel handle.
This model features a conveniently located trigger switch to operate and an electrical lock-off button atop the handle allowing you to lock on a function.

The soft start feature prevents the blade jumping when starting-up to reduce the risk of damaging the workpiece, whilst the 'Soft No Load' function automatically reduces the motor speed when the jigsaw is idle to suppress the vibration of the body.

The DJV182 jigsaw has a change lever for 3 orbital settings allowing for customised cuts, as well as a straight cut mode.
The rigid aluminium base has a bevel range of 0° to 45° left and right.

A blower function helps to clear dust & debris from the cutting line, whilst a twin LED job light helps illuminate the workpiece in low light situations.
A dust extractor can be attached to this brushless makita jigsaw by attaching the included nozzle to the sawdust exhaust port situated at the rear of the tool.

At just 266mm in length the DJV182 is incredibly compact and it weighs in at just 2.6Kgs when a battery is attached.
