The Makita MR007 DAB/DAB+ Radio with Bluetooth is one of the most important aspects of working on site.

Whether you’re at home, on site, in the office or even on holiday, having some music playing in the background is essential for mental health and well being and just boosting morale in general.

This uniquely compact radio will accept any of Makita’s batteries – from 12V CXT to 18V LXT and 40V XGT; it’ll take them all.  Alternatively, the radio can also be powered directly from the mains.

With FM radio capture as well as DAB/DAB+, you have the choice of hundreds of local and national radio stations to choose from.

The radio has 6 different selectable sound modes to suit different genres of music thereby making sure you hear you favourite tunes properly.  If not, there is an equaliser mode that will let you adjust the bass, mid-range and treble settings.  This multi-amplifier system provides clear sound reproduction without any loss of quality.

The radio also includes a high quality sub-woofer which is located at the bottom of the device to ensure rich, deeper bass levels.

The Bluetooth module lets you transmit from a smart device to the radio from up to 10metres away.

The MR007 includes elastomer bumpers around the device so that it can easily withstand the rigours of working on site, while the carry handle ensures easy transport to wherever you need the music.  This includes outside as the radio is also IP65 rated for dust and showerproof protection.

As well as being able to connect your smart device wirelessly to the radio, the MR007 includes an AUX-In socket for direct music playback.  It also includes a USB output socket for charging your smart device at the same time.
